“As soon as I opened the pages of The Art of Pasta it was destined to be the inspiration for our Nolans Road Cook Book Hamper. It is the most beautifully illustrated book, part art, part photography, with recipes and information about cooking with pasta that will ensure it becomes a much-loved favourite. The author is the kind and wonderful Lucio Galletto. His Sydney restaurant, Lucio’s, has served elegant Italian food to a Who’s Who of media, business and artists (whose work lines the walls) since the 1970s. It was also the first Australian restaurant my English husband and I visited together. It claims a special place in our hearts for all the reasons that make The Art of Pasta a must – the joyful celebration of simple ingredients, the generous sharing of knowledge that comes from a lifetime of cooking, and the tradition of family and hospitality. Similarly, I have become a devotee of the excellent Australian-grown-and-made Bellata Gold pasta because of the care the Cush family take in producing their products. The linguine was made in August 2011 from 100% durum wheat grown in Bellata, NSW. And I can guarantee that the Freschissima Passata from Tuscan tomatoes won’t last long in your pantry. Like our new season’s Nolans Road extra virgin olive oil, it is certified organic* and made from fruit that has been hand-picked and is alive with the fresh aromas and pure flavour of premium produce.” Dee Nolan, Nolans Road
